Protest Protocol

Evidence over emotions. Get your clip ready, then file the ticket.

Before you write anything

Three things decide whether this goes anywhere

Worth thirty seconds now rather than a rejected ticket later.

One

You have 24 hours

A day from the end of the race. Once it runs out the form closes, so do not sleep on it.

Two

You need a video link

On YouTube, Streamable, Google Drive, Dropbox, Twitch, Imgur or Discord. Get it uploaded before you start the form.

Three

Then file it

Pick the race and the driver, say what happened, and paste the clip. The stewards take it from there.

Drivers have the right to submit a protest if they believe a competitor breached racing rules.

HOW TO RAISE A TICKET

  1. Go to the protest form.
  2. If you are within 24 hours of the race finishing, you can pick the race you want to protest.
  3. Fill in everything listed under Mandatory below, then submit.

MANDATORY

Session info from the dropdown, the lap number, video evidence with clear replay angles, and a brief description. Each incident must be its own separate ticket.

DEADLINE

Protests must be submitted within 24 hours of the race finishing.

Decisions are reached by majority agreement among the reviewing stewards, so no one steward rules on a protest alone.
